No. 20/18 Georgetown Hosts No. 11/12 Rutgers

The No. 20/18 Georgetown University women's basketball squad (16-5, 5-3 BIG EAST) will host the No. 11/12 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights (17-3, 6-1 BIG EAST) on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., at McDonough Arena. The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU with Anne Marie Anderson on the call and former Hoya assistant Christy Winters Scott doing color.
No. 9 Georgetown Travels to Pittsburgh for Saturday Afternoon BIG EAST Game

The No. 9-ranked Georgetown University men's basketball (16-3, 6-2 BIG EAST) is back in action after a week off when the Hoyas play at Pittsburgh (12-9, 1-7 BIG EAST) on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. The game will be shown live on ESPN, with Bob Wischusen and Stephen Bardo calling all of the action. Locally, fans can tune in to Rich Chvotkin's radio call on Sports Talk AM 570.

Georgetown Athletics Hosts National Girls and Women in Sports Day Event

The Georgetown University Department of Athletics will join forces with the National Association for Girls and Women in Sports to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) on January 29, 2012. The event will include a free clinic, pizza party, game tickets and a meet and greet for girls ages first through eighth grade.
