Rodgers Named to Wooden Midseason Top 20

Georgetown University women's basketball junior Sugar Rodgers (Suffolk, Va./King's Fork) was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 20 on Friday for the second-consecutive year. The shooting guard was on the preseason watch list for the top individual honor in college basketball.
No. 20/18 Georgetown Hosts No. 11/12 Rutgers

The No. 20/18 Georgetown University women's basketball squad (16-5, 5-3 BIG EAST) will host the No. 11/12 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights (17-3, 6-1 BIG EAST) on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., at McDonough Arena. The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU with Anne Marie Anderson on the call and former Hoya assistant Christy Winters Scott doing color.
No. 9 Georgetown Travels to Pittsburgh for Saturday Afternoon BIG EAST Game

The No. 9-ranked Georgetown University men's basketball (16-3, 6-2 BIG EAST) is back in action after a week off when the Hoyas play at Pittsburgh (12-9, 1-7 BIG EAST) on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. The game will be shown live on ESPN, with Bob Wischusen and Stephen Bardo calling all of the action. Locally, fans can tune in to Rich Chvotkin's radio call on Sports Talk AM 570.
