Last season, Tory Rezin (Morris, Ill./Morris) broke the single-season record for most digs with 475. The previous record of 472 was achieved by Simone Kollmann in 1990. Rezin broke a record almost 20 years old.

The Georgetown volleyball squad (11-7, 1-1 BIG EAST) has been setting career highs this season. Ashley Malone (San Jose, Calif./St. Francis) set a career-high 58 assists and Lindsay Wise (Raleigh, N.C./Raleigh Charter) recorded a career-high 19 kills this season. Malone, who tallied 1148 assists last season, is now fifth among single-season assist leaders.

We have received BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll three weeks in a row thanks to stellar performances from Wise and Vanessa Dorismond (Cary, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons). We will undoubtedly see more Hoyas receive the honor this season.

Rezin and Malone are on pace to set more records at the end of the season. Come out and support your Hoyas as they take on BIG EAST opponents, deliver outstanding performances and make Georgetown volleyball history.

The Blue & Gray host DePaul on Friday at 7 p.m. and Notre Dame on Sunday at 2 p.m.
