Well it's not really an island blog since we're in the Miami airport waiting for our connection to BWI. Also, I am well aware that I skipped Day 5, but there really wasn't much to say except a tough game and a lot of film sessions, shoot around, etc. So now let's get to the good stuff,WE BEAT NO. 4 TENNESSEE!

Repetition and consistency are always an important part of training. Every team shoots shot after shot and runs drill after drill to make it perfect. This consistency carries over to a team preparing for a game, trying to keep everything the same so there are no surprises and everyone is in their optimal playing mindset.
Some of us in the sports information office may not be in Paradise, but for me and members of the women's soccer team, Columbus, Ohio on Thanksgiving Day may as well be Shangri-La.
I arrived in the lobby this morning and found the girls all congregating waiting to go to breakfast. As we were waiting, someone got the idea to go around the circle and say what we were thankful for. It was wonderful to hear how much the girls cherish their friends and families. They understand how lucky they are to play basketball at Georgetown.
Well fans I am exhausted and I didn't even play basketball today! Wednesday was another beautiful day in paradise filled with a little bit of basketball and a lot of relaxing.
Hello Hoya fans from the U.S. Virgin Islands! I apologize for not blogging yesterday, but it was a looooong travel day. We left campus at 4 a.m. for a 6 a.m. flight from National to JFK. After a short layover, we were on our way to the islands and arrived here around 1:30 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time. It's a perfect 80 degrees with a slight breeze, just getting off of the plane was wonderful!

It's Sunday evening and I'm in lovely Chapel Hill, N.C., for an NCAA Tournament Second Round matchup with the Tar Heels from UNC. It's a great night to play soccer with clear skies and high 50's.
I'll be live blogging all night sitting in the press box next to Dan Helfrich and Greg Dillard on the live play-by-play so sit down in a comfy chair with your laptop and enjoy a great night of soccer!
This is a great little arena situated right in the middle of downtown Charleston. It's where the College of Charleston plays and you can tell that when they pack it in here, it would be a tough place to play.
