I may be a bit biased since I have been staring at designs of the new site for months, but I think the feedback so far has been pretty positive. Our goal was to design a cleaner website that was navigation-friendly, but on the cutting edge of new technology with video players in the headline or the super schedule.
Fans may look at the new site and think everything is new, but one of my favorite things about working with CBS is that we can change the packaging without changing the content. We can change the entire look of the site, but don't have to stress about losing archives.
A new wesbite not only gives us a new, exciting and relevant look. It also forces fans to become reacquainted with the site, hopefully finding new things they haven't seen along the way.
One thing that we hope people check out is the video player. We'll be posting new video every day as a headline and we have archived video for every sport on their Hoyavision tab.
We know that with a redesign comes typos and we worked until late into the night yesterday to catch any of the major mistakes that had to be corrected.
We're really excited about the new site and we hope you are too!
And now for your viewing pleasure, my favorite song this week
