Hello from lovely South Bend, Indiana!  Most of the time, people would think I am being sarcastic when I say this, however, today I can honestly say that it is a beautiful day.  Sunny, 60 degrees, a little wind, a perfect day to play lacrosse.

To Judge or Not to Judge...

There has been a lot of talk about judging people in our office today.  While some of my co-workers have made it known that they never judge people and wouldn't fathom doing so, I'll be the first to admit that I judge a lot of things...all day...

LIVE BIG EAST Women's Lacrosse Championship!

The day has come ladies and gentlemen!  Once again the Hoyas advanced to the BIG EAST Championship game.  For the fourth year in a row we have made it, but hopefully this season the outcome is different in previous years.  Georgetown/Syracuse, I don't think I need to explain what this game means but anyway here are a few nuggets of info before the opening draw.

- Georgetown leads the series 12-3, but is 3-3 in the last three meetings

- Our average margin of victory in the last three meetings is just one goal while it is 8.7 goals for Syracuse

- GU defeated Syracuse 10-9 one week ago today at the Carrier Dome for the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship

- Head Coach Ricky Fried and SU Head Coach Gary Gait are two of only a handful of male coaches in D-I women's lax, both played professional lacrosse but transitioned into coaching women

See you in a bit for the opening draw!

It's that time again Hoya Fans, GAMETIME!  We're just a few minutes from the opening draw of the BIG EAST Championship semifinal.  To set the stage, the Hoyas are battling fourth-seeded Loyola for their second meeting in a week.  Last Wednesday, GU downed Loyola at Multi-Sport Field 10-9 in double overtime. I'll be updating throughout the game, Go Hoyas!

Good evening Hoya Fans!  First off, I need to apologize to Diana who is finishing up her Penn Relays blog.  We pushed our start time to 7:15 due to the sun so I think she'll be done with her blog before I take over the top spot.  Anyway, here we are in New Haven, Conn.

I'm on the road with women's basketball today, but this morning I received a phone call from Mara Vandlik the associate director of Hoyas Unlimited.  She was calling about a glitch on the web we had to work out but this phone call reminded me that the Hoyas Unlimited started today!

Don't worry Hoya fans, we made it to Pittsburgh.  Unlike the men's team which is still trying to find a way out of Providence we left yesterday morning in order to beat the storm.  Our wonderful bus driver Henry made it through some dicey weather on the drive here and some even more questionable conditions trying to get up snowy hills on the way to shoot around, but we made it.
