CAMP OVERVIEW

  • Camp focuses on teaching the proper offensive and defensive fundamentals of basketball.
  • Games are played in McDonough Arena and Yates Field House, both are air-conditioned.
  • Campers are divided into leagues based on age and ability. Each team is assigned a coach for the week, and plays two games per day.
  • Campers also compete in daily free throw, 1-on-1, and 3-on-3 competitions.
  • Lectures from the coaching staff and guest speakers emphasize improvement methods.
  • Overnight campers are housed in air-conditioned, on-campus dormitories.
  • All-you-can-eat meals are served in a conveniently located dining hall on campus.
  • A camp store includes: energy drinks, snacks, and Georgetown Basketball apparel

CAMP DETAILS

  • The camp is open to boys ages 8-18 who have not completed or started their senior year of high school.
  • The camp is located on the Georgetown University campus in Washington, D.C.
  • Campers must provide their own medical insurance. The camp has a professional medical trainer on duty at all times.
  • Campers are supervised at all times. The Camp Director reserves the right to dismiss any camper for misconduct with no refund given.
  • Cancellations received prior to May 31, 2013 will be entitled to a refund minus the $100 non-refundable deposit. NO REFUNDS will be granted for cancellations received after May 31, 2013 or if a camper must leave early for any reason.
  • Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis.
  • An information packet with camp check-in procedure will be emailed to you upon receipt of your camp application, including a request for a copy of a recent physical

  • Session I - Day Camp - $375
    Monday June 24 - Friday June 28 / 9am - 4pm*
    *Camp ends Friday at 12pm
    Lunch provided

  • Session II - Overnight Camp - $525
    Sunday June 30 - Wednesday July 3 / Residential
    All meals provided

  • Session II - Commuter Camp - $425
    Sunday June 30 - Wednesday July 3 / Commuter Approximate Schedule: (Sunday 5pm - 8pm, Monday & Tuesday 9am - 8pm, Wednesday 9am - 12pm)
    Lunch and dinner provided

REGISTRATION PROCESS

1. Complete online registration & submit payment here

2. Download and complete online supplemental registration forms. (Please type your replies directly into the form and submit by clicking the button at the bottom of the form - please do not email or fax these forms)

a. Camp Permission Form (Required for all campers)
b. Camp Medical Form 1 (Required for all campers)

3. Download, print and complete the offline supplemental registration forms. Please scan and email your completed form to cag45@georgetown.edu or fax to 202.687.2503.

a. Camp Medical Form 2 Required for all campers - to be completed by physician. In lieu of Form 2, we will a accept a recent medical physical completed on or after July 1, 2012.)
