The men's basketball training facility is located inside McDonough Gym, the former home of the Hoyas. The complex includes a main gym, which received a new floor during the summer of 2003 and a facelift of Georgetown blue this past summer. The gym is large enough to contain three individual training courts. In addition, the program has a private, auxiliary gym used for added practice space and specific workouts. Along with using the varsity weight room, located on the second floor of McDonough, the men's basketball program has its own 800 square foot weight room. The mirrored space consists of nautilus machines, free weights and cardio equipment.
Recently added to the basketball facility is the new Academic Lab, which is easily accessible from the team's locker room. The new state-of-the-art computer lab is utilized by the Academic Coordinator for study hall and as an area for team members to meet with tutors. A timeline of the storied tradition of Georgetown Basketball highlights the outside of the men's basketball offices, which are adjacent to the locker room and academic lab and overlook the main practice court.
