Assistant Athletic Director- Events & Operations


Jamie Breslin was named Assistant Athletics Director for Events and Operations in 2007. Breslin joined the Hoyas in 2005 as Director of Athletics Events. In his current role, he oversees all gameday events and operations, serves as the sport administrator for women's lacrosse and men's and women's track & field and is on the Games Committee for BIG EAST Women's Lacrosse.

At Georgetown, he twice served as the Tournament Manager for the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championships (2004, 2006) and was the tournament director for NCAA men's and women's lacrosse championships and for the 2009 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship.

Breslin came to Georgetown after serving as an assistant lacrosse coach at Springfield (Mass.) College from 2003-05. He was an assistant coach at Hobart College from 2001-03 and served as an intern at the ECAC during the 2000-01 academic year.

Breslin is a 2001 graduate of Hobart College. He was a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse and football for the Statesmen. Breslin served as the team's captain as a senior, when he was earned the Babe Kraus Award as the school's athlete of the year, earned All-American honors and was named the Patriot League Player of the Year. He earned a master's degree in athletic administration from Springfield College in 2005.
