Jennifer Maybry joined the Hoya sports medicine staff in the fall of 2011, her primary sport responsibilities are field hockey and men's and women's track & field and cross country.
Maybry completed her undergrad education at Southeast Missouri State University in 2004 earning a bachelor's of science in health management: athletic training option. She attended California State University-Northridge earning a master's of science in kinesiology in 2008. While at the Cal State-Northridge, she served as an athletic training graduate assistant for the volleyball, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field and softball teams.
Prior to Georgetown, Maybry was an athletic trainer at Maryland SportsCare and Rehab from 2008-2011. She spent half of her time in the physical therapy clinic and the rest of the time as the head athletic trainer at Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, Md.
Maybry also did an internship with Major League Soccer's D.C. United in the summer of 2011 along with working with D.C. United's Youth Academy Program from 2009-2011.
She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association, the Maryland Athletic Trainers' Association, the District of Columbia Athletic Trainers' Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Maybry is a native of Memphis, Tenn., and currently resides in Frederick, Md.
