Michael Black joined Georgetown athletics in August 2013 and serves as the primary contact for the Hoyas' volleyball, baseball and men's and women's rowing programs as the department's assistant sports information director.
Black arrived to the Hilltop following a year-long stint as the Jack Grinold Athletic Communications intern at Northeastern University, where he served as the Huskies' field hockey, baseball and swimming and diving contact. Prior to his tenure in Boston, he spent two years at Northwestern University, serving as the media relations contact for the field hockey and men's and women's tennis programs.
A 2010 graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in journalism, Black is wrapping up his pursuit of a master of arts degree in sports administration from Northwestern.
Originally hailing from Ormond Beach, Fla., the nation's Birthplace of Speed, Black currently resides in Arlington, Va.
