Shannon Hubbard joined the Georgetown University Sports Medicine staff in the summer of 2013. She works with the women's basketball squad as well as the sailing team.
Hubbard graduated from Marywood University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and health and physical education. Prior to graduate school, she interned at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla.
She received her master's degree in exercise science from Syracuse University in 2013 where she was a graduate assistant trainer working with the women's lacrosse team from 2011-13.
Hubbard has a certification in Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association, the Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association, and the District of Columbia Athletic Trainers' Association.
The Oxford, N.Y., native currently resides in Washington, D.C.
