Cindy Zilko has been with the Hoya Sports Medicine staff since 2006, she currently works with the football, tennis and track & field. Zilko graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and fitness management. She went on to earn her master's degree in exercise science in at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. While with the Minutemen, she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer covering football and softball. Zilko is a trained and certified American Heart Association instructor as well as an approved clinical instructor for The George Washington University Athletic Training Student Program and for Shenandoah University. She is currently a member of National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the Collegiate Athletic Trainers' Society (CATS), as well as the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association (MAATA) and the Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association (VATA). Zilko is a native of Amherst, Ohio and currently lives in Falls Church, Va. |
