What Is Athletic Development?

Athletic Development is the major gifts athletic fundraising arm for the Office of Alumni and University Relations. The Athletic Development office focuses on facility needs for the Athletic Department, as well as, scholarships and endowments for student-athletes and coaches. Over the last eight years Athletic Development has raised over $55 million and established 40 scholarships. In 1997 the Athletic Department was able to help nine student-athletes with financial need. Today, because of the efforts of the Athletic Development office 60 student-athletes have their financial need met.
