New Student-Athletes Welcome Reception

Athletic Director Lee Reed will host a reception for incoming freshmen and their families on the first official move-in. This is a chance to connect with the Georgetown Athletics family and learn about the transition from high school to college life, both on the field and in the classroom. Gridiron Club Alumni Weekend
Date: September 9-10, 2011 Location: Georgetown University
Football alumni, parents, and friends are invited back to the Hilltop for Alumni Weekend. As a part of the weekend, members of the Hoya football community will gather to celebrate Coach Glacken on Friday evening. Scott Glacken was one of the most respected football coaches to don the blue and gray. For 23 seasons, Head Football Coach Scott Glacken patrolled the sidelines with his lieutenant coaches. Athletic Recognition Event

Hoyas Unlimited and Georgetown Athletics present the 25th Annual Athletic Recognition Event. This is the annual all-sport awards event in which four major awards are presented to outstanding student-athletes, alumni, supporters and coaches. It is the signature event for the Georgetown Athletics family to rally behind its common passion for the pursuit of excellence on and off the field. Spiked Shoe Homecoming 5K

Join fellow alumni and friends of the track program for a 5K on Saturday morning of Homecoming weekend. The 5K winds through campus and ends back in Red Square with breakfast. Participants receive a t-shirt.

Georgetown Men's Lacrosse Alumni Dinner in New York City
The Georgetown Men's Lacrosse Program hosts an annual alumni reception in New York City in January. This event has become a staple for the Georgetown Lacrosse alumni community. Details for this year's event will be released in December.

Georgetown University Athletics' 2011 Hall of Fame Induction Dinner
The 20th Edition of the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner will take place in early 2012. As details are finalized, information will be available here.

The MAJOR Golf Outing
The Georgetown Major will be held September 14-16, 2012 at the Greenbrier Resort in Sulphur Springs, WV. The Major is a unique golf event intended to provide financial support to our athletic teams and offer participants an opportunity to play one of the finest golf courses in the nation.
