WASHINGTON – The No. 2 Georgetown University men's soccer team battled down to the wire, but a late goal from the University of Louisville Cardinals in the 106th minute would be the difference in a tough 1-0 loss Tuesday evening at the Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium. How it Happened

- In the 33rd minute, junior Paul Rothrock had a shot that was saved and the rebound was sent back across where no one could get a foot on it.
- Shots from freshman Will Sands and senior Dylan Nealis were both dangerous but wide.
- The defense held strong with two big blocks and GU's burst in the final five minutes of regulation was not enough.
