The Hoyas train out of the 4,700 square foot weight room located in Yates Field House. Student-athletes are trained in proper Olympic lifting technique along with speed, agility, core, and power training by highly qualified strength & conditioning coaches. Student- athletes are given sport specific programs along with an individualized program to fit their own specific needs.

Student-athletes undergo an athletic evaluation preformed by the strength & conditioning staff before stepping into the racks in order to see where their physical status stands and in which areas they need to improve. A scoring scale is given and the student-athlete works throughout the year to improve that score.
