WASHINGTON - The Georgetown women's sailing team finished up at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) National Championships today, taking 11th overall following four total days of racing (Tuesday, May 21 - Friday, May 24) on Tampa Bay out of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, hosted by USF, St. Petersburg, Eckerd College and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club.

The field of 18 teams in the finals competed on a trapezoid course with finals competition starting Wednesday afternoon and extending through Friday. A total of 18 races in both the A and B division were completed over the three-day affair with conditions being the best on Friday with gusts up to 14 knots and the temperature in the 80s on a sunny day in Tampa.
