Prior to Georgetown - Ballanfant lettered four years as a sprinter in swimming at M.B. Lamar High School and lettered one year in water polo ... Captained the Lamar swim team one year and was named MVP twice (2006-07), all-state four times (2006-09) and All-American three times (2007-09) ... Holds the school records in the 200 and 400 free relays and earned Academic All-American honors in 2009.
