Hoyas feature several strong performances against Colonials
High School: Qualified for Sectionals, Zones, JOs, and competed in the Empire State Games. He also is a North Shore team record holder in the 13-14 200 meter butterfly, 15-18 200 meter butterfly, and the 15-18 200 meter IM. In high school, Liuben was a senior captain for the Ward Melville swim team, and made the state meet his last two years, as well as achieving All-County, All-League, and All-Long Island honors. His 200 medley and 400 free relay teams broke his school records this past fall. Academically, Liuben is a member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, High Honor Roll, a National AP Scholar, and is in the top 10% of his class.
