Prior to Georgetown: Was a four-year member of the swimming & diving team at Columbus Academy, serving as a team captain as a senior ... Was a two-time state runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke as well as the 2016 runner-up in the 200-yard medley relay and in 2017 in the 400-yard freestyle relay ... Helped lead Columbus Academy to a third-place finish at the 2017 Ohio state championships ... Holds the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke, the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay ... Also swam for the Ohio State Swim Club (2016-17) and the Greater Columbus Swim Team of Ohio (13 years) ... Placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke at the 2016 Ohio Sectional Meet ... Was also was a member of the soccer team, leading Columbus to three-straight district championships and serving as a team captain his senior year.
