High School: Ng is the University School of Nashville record holder in seven events including the 100m backstroke, 100m fly, 50m free, 100m free, 200m free, 200m Medley Relay and 200m Free Relay. He was a state finalist all four years in high school and regional champion in 100m backstroke in 2010. Michael was named First Team All-Region in 2010 and 2011 and was the winner of University School of Nashville's Most Outstanding Swimmer Award in four consecutive years. Ng was also the winner of USN's Tiger of the Year Award and team captain for USN both his junior and senior year. He earned Academic and Scholastic All-American honors and a Junior National and U.S. Open qualifier. He gained All-American honors in the 100m backstroke in 2010 and 2011. Michael will have an immediate impact on the program in both dual meets and at the Big East Conference. Top Events and Times: 100 back 50.96, 200 back 1:50.77, 100 fly 51.53.
