Hoyas turn in strong individual performances in two-day meet.
High School: Michael finished eighth at the state competition in Virginia in the 50m free and eighth in the 200m free at senior championships during his junior season. Young was named captain of his high school swim team and set the school records in 50m free, 200m free, and 100m back. Academically, Young is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. He chose Georgetown because he felt the Jesuit education seemed to be a good place to continue to develop his faith while still getting an exceptional education along with reaching his goals in the pool.
