Georgetown Diving Completes Competition at BIG EAST Championships

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Georgetown men's and women's diving teams finished their season at the BIG EAST Diving Championships over the weekend on campus at University of Pittsburgh

On Friday, Bryan Doremus took 20th place in the men's one meter preliminaries with a score of 185.55. In the women's one meter preliminaries, Shannon Donohue was the Hoyas top finisher at 23rd overall with a score of 200.25. Lauren Kahan (172.65) and Jennifer Purks (170.20) finished 30th and 31st, respectively with Zoey Krulick taking 33rd place with a score of 163.55.

On Saturday, Donohue finished as the Hoyas top diver in the women's three-meter championship, finishing 21st overall with a score of 188.80. Jennifer Purks and Lauren Kahan finished in 25th and 26th, respectively.

In the men's three-meter championship, Bryan Doremus finished 16th overall with a score of 220.65 to help Georgetown's men finish sixth overall in the team standings. The Hoyas men's and women's swimming teams will begin action at the BIG EAST Championships at University of Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon.
