WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University swimming & diving team split a dual meet with Davidson College as the women's side defeated the Wildcats, 172-120, while the men's squad fell, 176-123. Racing took place at Davidson's Baker Sports Complex.
Georgetown's women's squad was led by Phoebe Slaughter (Darien, Conn./Darien), who won a trio of events. She touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle by a two-second margin, and won the 200-yard backstroke by three seconds. With the meet already decided, Slaughter also finished first in the 200-yard IM. Lauren Henasey (Newtown, Pa./Germantown Academic) was GU's other multiple winner, sweeping the 100- and 200-yard butterfly events. The Hoyas also swept the top four spots in both diving events as Elizabeth Miller (Wayland, Mass./Wayland) took the 1-meter dive and Naomi Peng (Gainesville, Fla./Eastside) claimed the 3-meter.

The Hoya men's side, Drew Carbone (Chelmsford, Mass./Central Catholic) led the Blue & Gray with three individual victories, winning both the 100 and 200-yard backstroke as well as the 200-yard IM.
