Hoyas Swimming & Diving Hosts Boston College and Yale on Saturday

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University swimming and diving team will host Boston College and the Yale men's team on Saturday afternoon at McCarthy Pool. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. with the Hoyas' hosting its second meet in as many weeks.
On Saturday, the women's team will swim in odd-numbered lanes, while Boston College will swim in the even numbered lanes. On the men's side, the Hoyas will be in lanes two and five, BC will be in lane's four and seven, while Yale will be in lanes three and six.
This will be the first time during Head Coach James Holder's tenure at Georgetown that GU will compete against Boston College or Yale.
In its home-opening meet last Saturday with William & Mary and Towson, Michael Ng turned in a second place performance, finishing the 100 yard backstroke in 52.19. On the women's side the Hoyas earned third place in the 200 yard medley relay, as Kathleen Duncalf, Maryellen Campbell, Erin Timochenko and Erica Fabbri finished in a time of 1:49.66. Lauren Kahan finished second in the one-meter diving competition with a final score of 224.85.
