Hoyas Set to Begin Competition at Three-Day Bucknell Invitational on Friday Morning

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University swimming and diving team will be on the road for the second consecutive weekend as they travel to Lewisburg, Pa. to take part in the three-day Bucknell Invitational beginning on Friday, November 15 at the Kinney Natatorium on campus of Bucknell University. The Hoyas will be looking to post season-best times across the board, as they match up with host Bucknell, Binghamton, Delaware, Fordham, LaSalle and the men's swimming and diving team from Yale in the 46-event three-day meet, schedule to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday morning. The Hoyas are coming off a strong performance at the two-day Big Al Open at Princeton University last weekend. Senior captain Paul Quincy earned third place finishes in the 500 yard freestyle and the 1650 yard freestyle and sophomore Michael Ng finished third in the 100 meter backstroke to highlight the men's individual performers. On the women's side Nicole Tronolone finished third in the 1650 freestyle, as the Hoyas women received several strong performances from its talented freshman class.
