WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University swimming and diving team returns to action on Saturday, December 1, as they travel to Williamsburg, Va. to compete in a dual meet against William & Mary at the Tribe's Rec Center Pool. The first race is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The dual meet with William & Mary will be the first for the Hoyas since racing in the Bucknell Invitational the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. In Lewisburg, Pa. Georgetown saw its women's team break three program records and finish fourth out of seven teams. Sophomore Casey Bandman set a new school record in the 400 yard IM, while a pair of freshmen also made their mark on the GU record books, as Maryellen Campbell set a new record in the 100 yard backstroke and Nicole Tronolone shattered the 1650 freestyle record.

The men's side continued to show its strength in distance races, as senior captain Paul Quincy helped lead the men's side by taking a first place finish in the 1650 yard freestyle along with a fourth place finish in the 500 yard freestyle.
