Hoyas Swimming & Diving Hosts Howard on Saturday at McCarthy Pool

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's and women's swimming and diving team host crosstown rival Howard University in its final home meet of the fall semester at McCarthy Pool on Saturday afternoon. The Hoyas and Bison will start at 1 p.m.

The Blue & Gray are coming off a strong performance at the Bucknell Invite in late November, with the men's and women's team each claiming a fourth place finish out of nine and 10 teams, respectively. Sophomore Nicole Tronolone set a program record in the 500 yard freestyle, while Erica Fabbri earned a first place finish in the 100 yard butterfly and a second place finish in the 100 yard freestyle on the women's side.

On the men's side, Michael Ng is coming off a third place finish in the 100 yard backstroke at the Bucknell Invite. The men's relay teams had success in Lewisburg, earning a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay with a team of Michael Young, Christian Kilgore, Martin Vanin and Matthew Mandel. Will Leach, Mandel, Michael Smigelski and David Chung also earned a second place finish in the 400 yard freestyle relay.

Saturday's meet is scheduled for 11 events, with the event schedule listed below:
