2015: Drafted in 40th Round (1,187 overall) by the Colorado Rockies in the 2015 MLB Draft … BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll – February 16Played and started in all 53 games at first base as a senior … Finished the season batting .316 (60-for-190) with four home runs, 17 doubles, 42 RBI and 25 runs scored … Was second on the team with 23 walks … Led the Hoyas and ranked third in the BIG EAST with 42 RBI … Also tied for second in the BIG EAST with 17 doubles and ranked sixth with a .468 slugging percentage … Had 16 multiple-hit games, including five with at least three hits … Had a team-high 11 multiple-RBI games, including two three-RBI and two four-RBI games … Hit his second-career grand slam on March 21 vs. Brown … Hit a solo home run on March 24, providing the only offense in a 1-0 upset victory at then-No.12 Virginia … Was 3-for-6 with four RBI on March 31 at George Mason … Had three hits and three RBI on May 9 and four hits, three RBI and three runs scored on May 10 vs. Butler.

Played for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs of the Florida Collegiate Leage during the summer of 2014. Came back from injury to play the final 14 regular season games, bagging .256 (11-for-43), including a home run, four doubles and six RBI. In the playoffs, Carter played in all four games, hitting .389 (7-for-18). Helped the Diamond Dawgs to the league title with a 2-for-5 performance, including an RBI double, in the championship clinching victory.
