Curtis Brown, entering his seventh season with the Georgetown baseball team, was promoted to Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator in September 2010.

"It's a great pleasure to promote Curtis," Head Coach Pete Wilk said. "He's been a vital part of our program the last four years and has done a tremendous job with our pitching staff. We've been able to make some moves upward in the BIG EAST Conference and a lot of that credit goes to the hard work Curtis has put in."
At Georgetown, Brown has worked with a pitching staff has continued to grow in each of the last six years, lowering the staff earned run average during that time. Among his pupils has been Tim Adleman, who was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft and pitched in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game.
Brown came to Georgetown after previous stops at Radford, Richmond, Wake Forest and with Bethesda-Chevy Chase Baseball Inc. in Maryland. During his tenure there, Brown was either involved in, or in charge of, every aspect of the Spiders program. The Spiders won consecutive Atlantic-10 regular season championships and the pitching staffs finished in among the top-20 in 2002 and top-10 in 2003. Numerous players coached by Brown went on to win all-conference, all-region and national accolades.
