"It's a great pleasure to promote Curtis," Head Coach Pete Wilk said. "He's been a vital part of our program the last four years and has done a tremendous job with our pitching staff. We've been able to make some moves upward in the BIG EAST Conference and a lot of that credit goes to the hard work Curtis has put in."

Among his pupils has been Tim Adleman, who was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft and pitched in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game.
Brown came to Georgetown after previous stops at Radford, Richmond, Wake Forest and with Bethesda-Chevy Chase Baseball Inc. in Maryland.
