Made 50 starts as a senior in 2016, finishing with a .254 batting average, eight doubles, 27 RBI, 26 runs scored and was a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases ... Hit .290 with 25 RBI and 25 runs scored in 45 starts as a junior in 2015 ... Earned his degree from Marist in American Studies ... Before Marist, played one season at CCBC-Essex, where he batted .391 with nine doubles, 29 RBI and 22 stolen bases and was named first team all-region and an NJCAA Academic All-American ... Spent his freshman year at Emory College where he received a medical redshirt after missing the season due to injury ... Was a two-time all-star in the Cal Ripken Baseball League, playing alongside several Hoyas on the Silver Spring-Tacoma Thunderbolts ...In high school, Racusin was on the track & field team where he was a member of the 4x200-meter relay team that set a school record ... His great uncle, Saul Nechtem, is in the Boston University Hall of Fame after starring in baseball, basketball, football and track & field from 1936-39.
