WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University baseball team returns to BIG EAST action this weekend when it travels to South Orange, N.J., for a three-game series against Seton Hall University. First pitch on Friday is set for 6 p.m. while Saturday's game will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday's finale is scheduled for noon and will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network. Georgetown is coming off of a decisive, 13-2 victory at Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday, in which 11 different Hoyas combined for 17 hits. Ryan Weisenberg (Parkland, Fla./San Ramon Valley) led the offensive barrage with three hits, including two home runs in a nine-run fourth inning. He started the frame with a two-run shot before ending the rally with a grand slam. Four other Hoyas had at least two hits and Eric Garza (San Antonio, Texas/Ronald Reagan/TCU/San Jacinto) finished with three RBI. Nick Leonard (Washington, D.C./Maret) picked up his fourth win of the season.
Michael DeRenzi (Mendham, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) leads the Hoyas with a .383 batting average, 34 runs scored, three triples and 11 stolen bases. He is tied with Jake Kuzbel (Ashburn, Va./Stone Ridge) for the team lead with four home runs and 34 RBI. Kuzbel is batting .360 in the season, while Jake Bernstein (Frederick, Md./St. John's College HS) and Zach Racusin (Morristown, N.J./Salisbury School/Marist) are batting .357 and .342, respectively.
Seton Hall enters the game with an 18-16 overall record and a 2-4 mark in BIG EAST play. The Pirates have lost conference series against Butler and Xavier, but are coming off of two-straight midweek wins over Rutgers. Seton Hall is batting .247 as a team, while the pitching staff owns a 3.95 ERA.

Kuzbel is currently riding a team-high, five-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in 31-consecutive games. In the 10 games since he joined the lineup every day, Garza is 15-for-40 with two home runs, six doubles, seven runs scored and 13 RBI. He has multi-hit efforts in seven of the past eight games and has an RBI in seven-consecutive games.
