Weather Cancels Georgetown-Coppin State Baseball Doubleheader

Matt Smith and the Hoyas will host Villanova in a three-game series this weekend.

WASHINGTON – Wednesday’s baseball doubleheader between Georgetown and Coppin State has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

The games will not be made up.

The Hoyas (15-25, 1-11 BIG EAST) will host Villanova in a three-game, BIG EAST series on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday and Saturday’s contests will start at 7 p.m. while Sunday’s first pitch is set for 1 p.m. Prior to Saturday night’s game, the Blue & Gray will honor its seniors with a pregame Senior Day ceremony.
