WASHINGTON - Georgetown University redshirt junior shortstop Mike Garza (San Antonio, Texas/Douglas MacArthur) was selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

The Blue & Gray tied for eighth place in the BIG EAST, missing out on its first appearance in the league tournament in 26 years by just percentage points. The 10 wins in league play were the most for the team since 2006.

In addition, he was second in the BIG EAST in slugging percentage (.616) and ninth in the league in on-base percentage (.433).
