WASHINGTON -Georgetown Baseball Head Coach Pete Wilk has announced the addition of nine new Hoyas for the 2013-14 academic year, including four right-handed and two left-handed hurlers and three solid infielders to round out this year's roster. The incoming Hoyas span the States, hailing from as close as Maryland and Virginia, to all the way from Texas and California.
"We've got another strong core of players coming to Georgetown," Wilk said of the new class. "I'm very proud of the work that Coach (Curtis) Brown and I have put in to bring in a group of young guys who are talented baseball players and will be great new additions to the Hilltop."
Mt. Pleasant, N.C./Needham B. Broughton
"Joe is a talented player who is going to have the opportunity to help us on the mound as well as in the outfield.
