Georgetown University freshman men's basketball player Otto Porter (Sikeston, Mo./Scott County Central) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. This is the first conference recognition for Porter this season.

No. 12 Georgetown Returns Home for Sunday Matinee with St. John's

The Georgetown University men's basketball team returns home on Sunday, Feb. 12 hosting long-time BIG EAST Conference rival St. John's at Verizon Center. Tipoff is slated for 1 p.m. The game will be shown live on ESPN, with Bob Wischusen and Fran Fraschilla calling all of the action. Locally, fans can tune in to ESPN 980 AM for the radio call from Rich Chvotkin.

Former Georgetown All-American Roy Hibbert Selected to NBA All-Star Team

Former Georgetown University All-American basketball player Roy Hibbert (C'08) was selected as a reserve for the NBA All-Star Game, his first-ever selection to the squad. The All-Star Game is Feb. 26 in Orlando, Fla.
