No. 9 Georgetown Travels to Pittsburgh for Saturday Afternoon BIG EAST Game

The No. 9-ranked Georgetown University men's basketball (16-3, 6-2 BIG EAST) is back in action after a week off when the Hoyas play at Pittsburgh (12-9, 1-7 BIG EAST) on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. The game will be shown live on ESPN, with Bob Wischusen and Stephen Bardo calling all of the action. Locally, fans can tune in to Rich Chvotkin's radio call on Sports Talk AM 570.
Suits and Sneakers Awareness Weekend Set for Jan. 27-29

Part of the full slate of college basketball on the docket for this weekend is the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness event, a collaborative initiative of the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Georgetown University has been nominated as one of the top college basketball student sections in the country and is asking for fan support to help win the prestigious title. Hoya fans will now have a say in determining the most deserving student section by voting for the Naismith Student Section of the Year Award.
