Academic Advisor

Kimberly Curry joined the Georgetown men's basketball program in May 2010 as the team's academic advisor.

Curry came to Georgetown after five years at Columbia University, most recently serving as Director of Enrichment Services.

Curry served as the director of student-athlete career development and services the previous four years. In that role, she was responsible for all day-to-day operations for enrichment services and student-athlete programming, including career development.

In June 2006, Curry, a former Ivy League student-athlete, was the first person to serve as Columbia's director of student-athlete career development and services. In that position, Curry assisted Columbia's more than 800 student-athletes on a variety of issues and topics, including letter and resume writing, networking, interviewing and presentation skills - among other important areas related to securing meaningful career opportunities.

Curry, a 1996 graduate of Princeton University and a 2004 graduate of Columbia University Teachers College, was a four-year letterwinner for the Princeton women's basketball team. During her senior season at Princeton, she was named team captain, and earned the Herbert W. Hobler '44 Award, presented annually to the Tigers' women's basketball most valuable player. In 1996, Princeton established the Kimberly Curry Award in her honor, presented annually to the women's basketball player who best exemplifies teamwork and dedication.
