Hoya Fans Come Out to Verizon Center Tomorrow Morning

March 23, 2006

Fox 5 is looking to make the Hoya excitement part of their Friday morning show. They are asking for Georgetown basketball supporters to appear outside the "Verizon Center" tomorrow for some group footage. The bigger a group, and the more vocally supportive of the Hoyas we are, the better.

There is some flexibility as to the time, but the general idea is to be there (on 6th Street between F & G) @ 8:30 a.m.

Hoya Fans, hope to see you at the Verizon Center tomorrow morning!

In preparation of tomorrow's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 match-up with the University of Florida, the Georgetown men's basketball team took part in the Minneapolis regional media day today. The Hoyas entertained the numerous basketball fans who made their way to the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome during their 50-minute open practice session. Following practice, head coach John Thompson III, senior Brandon Bowman, and sophomores Jeff Green and Roy Hibbert answered questions from the media in attendance their respective 15-minute press conference. Meanwhile, the remaining Georgetown student-athletes were available to talk to the press in the Hoya locker room.
