Georgetown Men's Basketball Announcement

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University Head Men's Basketball Coach John Thompson III announced today that guard Aaron Bowen (Jacksonville, Fla./QEA [N.C.]) will return to the team next season and that center Moses Ayegba (Kano, Nigeria/Progressive Christian [Md.]) will not. Both players are on schedule to graduate in May.

Bowen appeared in all 33 games this season, starting one, and averaged 6.0 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 49.4 percent from the floor. He scored a career-high 13 points twice this season, first against Seton Hall and then against Villanova.

Ayegba appeared in 31 games this season, averaging 1.9 points and 2.8 rebounds. In 65 career games on the Hilltop, he averaged 1.6 points and 2.5 rebounds.
