Student Season Tickets Available for Online Purchase for First Time

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University Athletics Ticket Office launched its newest venture recently by offering student season tickets for the men's basketball team for purchase online. Students can log on to their online accounts and pay for their season tickets by visiting http://guhoyas.com/accountmanager. There, students can enter their "@georgetown.edu" e-mail addresses as their user names and their GOCard numbers as their passwords. For additional step-by-step instructions, click here. Season tickets cost $125 and include all 2010-11 Verizon Center men's basketball home games, all 2010-11 McDonough Arena women's basketball home games, and the official "We Are Georgetown" student section t-shirt. There is a limit of one season ticket per student. All Georgetown undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. For all events, seating is general admission and first-come, first-served. Only student season ticket holders are eligible for lower level student section seats at Verizon Center. Students may also order their basketball student season tickets by calling the Georgetown Athletic Ticket Office at (202) 687-HOYA (4692) or in person at the McDonough Arena Box Office, Monday to Friday 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. starting Wed., Sept 1, 2010. Please bring a GOCard and present a major credit card for payment (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, DISCOVER). Payment through the Account Manager online site requires a $3 service charge. This charge does not apply when paying for tickets by phone or in person. The deadline to purchase student season tickets is Friday, Oct. 22, 2010.
