The Blue & Gray will be playing just their second home game of the season after opening the season in South Korea as part of the Armed Forces Classic and then playing three games last week in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off in San Juan. The Hoyas have totaled nearly 17,000 miles of air travel this season.

After returning from Puerto Rico and taking a day for Thanksgiving, the Hoyas practiced on Friday and made final preparations for the game with Lipscomb on Saturday. The Hoyas won two of their last three games in Puerto Rico, including an 84-80 win over then-No. 10 VCU in the fifth place game. The team opened the tournament with a loss to Northeastern (63-56) and then bounced back to beat Kansas State, 90-63, in the second round.

Georgetown enters this weekend with a 3-2 record and the Lipscomb game is the first of four-straight home games before the end of the fall semester.

Sophomore D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central/Oak Hill) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after his performance last weekend, as he scored in double figures in three-straight games.
