Georgetown Crew Sends Men's Eights and Fours to Head of the Charles

Hoyas Heavies and Lights to compete in world's largest rowing festival in Boston, Mass.

High School: Earned gold and bronze medals at the NEIRA championships while helping Belmont Hill to two New England team championships in rowing. Captained the nordic ski team and earned 9 varsity letters in rowing, football, and nordic skiing.

Freshman (2011): Rowed in the 1F that defeated Harvard and MIT.

Sophomore (2012): Rowed in the Lightweight 4 that finished 7th at the Head of the Charles. Stroked the 2V that defeated UPenn. Stroked the Lightweight 4 at the 2012 IRA.

Andrew is a Science, Technology, and International Affairs major in the Walsh School of Foreign Service, with a concentration in Environment and Energy, and a certificate in Latin American Studies. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese. In his free time, Andrew is a coach with the Grassroot Hoyas program. He hopes to work in sustainable development or environmental policy after graduation. Andrew is still searching for his first Georgetown Intramural Sports Championship after several close defeats.
