High School: Rowed 7 seat in Varsity 8; Silver at Stotesbury Regatta in Senior 8; Won Gold in SRAA National Championship in Senior 8; Competed in Princess Elizabeth Cup in Henley Royal Regatta Freshmen (2010): Stroked Freshmen 8; 7th place at Eastern Sprints Sophomore (2011): 5th Place in Lightweight 4 at Head of the Charles; Rowed Stroke in Varsity 8 Junior (2012): 4th Place in Lightweight 8 at Head of the Charles, 3rd Place in Lightweight 8 and Lightweight 4 at Princeton Chase; Rowed Bow in Varsity 8 all season including wins over Princeton, Columbia, Navy, Delaware, and Penn; 5th place at Eastern Sprints, 4th Place at IRAs; Won U23 Trials in Lightweight Pair with teammate Chandler Mahaney and placed 12th in U23 World Championships Senior (2013): Stroked the Varsity 8 at Head of the Charles and the Princeton Chase. He was selected by his peers to be co-captain of the G150s for his senior year. Jack is an American Studies Major and Economics Minor. He follows in the footsteps of his parents who are both in the Georgetown Athletic Hall of Fame for Rowing (John Devlin C'71 & JoAnn Grainger B'80). He also has a younger sister at Georgetown in the class of 2015.
