Greg Myhr enters his second year coaching at Georgetown. He coaches the freshman heavyweight men.
Prior to arriving on the Hilltop, Myhr coached at Wisconsin for eight years. He served as assistant coach of the varsity men's heavyweights for three seasons, culminating in a national team point championship in 1997. He then coached the Wisconsin freshman heavyweights for the next five years, helping to win four consecutive national team point titles.
Myhr started rowing in a start-up rowing program at Walt Whitman Highschool (Bethesda, Md.) in the late 1980's. He continued to row at the University of Wisconsin where he was captain and MVP of the heavyweight crew.
