Philip says: "I chose to attend college in the United States because only here I have the opportunity to enjoy a world-class education and maintain a rowing career on the highest level. I chose Georgetown specifically because I wanted to be a part of a team that was going to build a winning tradition. I wanted to be part of a team that was going to establish its position at the top. The most important factor to influence my decision, however, was the team itself; they are a group of outstanding people who made me feel welcome from the very first moment I set a foot on campus."
