The Georgetown University Heavyweight Crew Team rung in the New Year in South Carolina

Jan. 10, 2012

The Georgetown University Heavyweight Crew Team rung in the New Year in beautiful, "balmy" South Carolina. While the conditions have been cold, we have been getting in a lot of good work out on the Broad River. We have been mostly focusing on power application, rowing longer, lower rating pieces in fours and pairs and have been seeing lots of improvements from the whole team. The weather forecast is promising some warmer conditions for the coming days, giving us the opportunity to continue getting in more strokes to prepare for the coming spring season. Look for another update in the coming days as we wrap up the trip.
