Georgetown Men's Crew Begins Competion at GW Invitational on Friday

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men's crew will begin competition at the George Washington Invitational on the Potomac River on Friday afternoon. The GW Invitational marks the Hoyas first race on the Potomac of the spring season. They will race three boats on Friday afternoon.

The men's races will begin after 3 p.m. with the Georgetown freshman eight competing in the first heat of the Men's Freshmen Eight race at approximately 3:16 p.m. against GW and Navy.

The Hoyas second varsity eight will participate in the Men's Second Varsity Eight race against GW and Navy at 3:38 p.m., while the men's varsity eight will take part in the second heat of the Men's Varsity Eight race at 4:06 p.m.
