Men's Crew Places Second at Lightweight National Championship

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Georgetown Men's Varsity Lightweight Eight followed up its bronze medal performance three weeks ago at the Eastern Sprints by finishing second this past weekend in the Men's Lightweight National Championship race. Navy capped off an undefeated season by winning the race, followed by Georgetown, Princeton, Yale, Harvard, and Cornell.

At the same regatta, the Georgetown Women's Varsity Lightweight Eight also had a strong day, finishing fourth in the Women's National Championship race. Wisconsin won this race, followed by Princeton, Radcliffe, Georgetown, URI, and Central Florida.
