Georgetown Crew Ends the Season at Rivanna Regatta

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Georgetown women's crew team finished 11th in the varsity eight and varsity four competitions at the Rivanna Romp on Sunday, November 11. Georgetown's "C" boat also finished 14th in the varsity four divisions. GU's men won both the eight and the four competitions in times of 11:53.92 and 13:17.45 respectively.

The Hoyas finished the varsity eight race with a time of 14:03.08 to take 11th place. Ohio State won the varsity eight competition with a time of 12:44.11, followed by Virginia, which clocked in at 12:50.67.

Georgetown's "A" and "C" boats finished 11th and 14th, respectively, in the varsity four division. The "A" boat finished with a time of 15:24.25, while the "C" boat finished in 16:09.46. Virginia defeated Ohio State for the victory, finishing with a time of 14:04.52.

The Rivanna romp was the Hoyas last regatta of the season.
